In 2018, T-Ross Brothers Construction, Inc. established the T-Ross Brothers Construction Inc. Scholarship to support graduating seniors interested in construction-related fields of study. This year, two exceptional students, Austin Carollo and Trent Wenrich, have been chosen as recipients, embodying the scholarship’s commitment to nurturing the future of construction and engineering.

Austin Carollo, a graduate of Lewisburg Area High School and the SUN Area Technical Institute, plans to attend Pennsylvania College of Technology for Construction. Trent Wenrich, also from Lewisburg Area High School and SUN Area Technical Institute, will study at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology.

Both students draw inspiration from their grandfathers, who influenced their career choices. Austin recalls spending time with his grandfather, a construction worker, building things in the workshop. Trent’s decision was shaped by his grandfather’s background as an aviation electrician and government construction representative.

At SUN Tech, Austin was Vice President of the Carpentry Class and participated in the SkillsUSA competition. Trent engaged in football and wrestling during his high school years and worked at Surplus Outlet in Northumberland, earning praise from his supervisor.

T-Ross Brothers Construction, Inc. congratulates Austin and Trent on their well-deserved scholarships. The company eagerly anticipates future applicants who embody the dedication and passion demonstrated by these students.

The T-Ross Construction Scholarship is open to graduating seniors from Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, or Union counties. Eligible students accepted into accredited colleges, universities, or vocational schools for construction-related degrees are encouraged to apply. A B average is required, and preference is given to those with relevant industry experience. Letters of recommendation from employers or individuals familiar with applicants’ experiences are essential.

Applicants are accepted every year by the First Community Foundation Partnership (FCFP). The deadline to apply is April 1st. For more information about the scholarship, go to www.fcfpartnership.org/scholarship/t-ross-brothers-construction-inc-scholarship-fund/.

T-Ross Brothers Construction, Inc. is committed to supporting educational growth and industry leadership through its scholarship program. All scholarship awards will be directly disbursed to chosen educational institutions.
