T-Ross Brothers Construction completed a Design-Build renovation and addition project for Good Wil’s Restaurant in Montandon, Pennsylvania, helping modernize and expand the restaurant while maintaining the character and charm that customers have long appreciated.

Working in collaboration with Susan McGarry of Arch Central Architects, the project focused on improving functionality, customer flow, and dining capacity while preserving the restaurant’s original rustic appearance and atmosphere. A major design priority was maintaining the existing log features within the dining area, allowing the renovated space to retain its warm and recognizable character.

The project included both interior and exterior renovations along with additions to the kitchen and dining room areas designed to improve operations and enhance the customer experience.

One of the key features of the renovation was a 470-square-foot dining room addition that expanded seating capacity while creating a more open and comfortable environment for guests. The project also included construction of a new entrance and an enclosed waiting area with seating to improve customer flow and provide a more welcoming arrival experience.

Additional upgrades included new restroom facilities, an expanded bakery area, and various interior and exterior improvements designed to support both daily restaurant operations and long-term growth.

The completed facility also features a copper standing seam roof installed by Bend-Fab, adding a distinctive architectural element that complements the restaurant’s rustic aesthetic while providing long-term durability and visual appeal.
