T-Ross Brothers Construction was selected as the general contractor for the transformation of the former JCPenney space at the Susquehanna Valley Mall in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania into a fully functional worship and community facility for Redeemer Fellowship Church.

This large-scale adaptive reuse project involved converting an existing retail space into a modern religious facility designed to support worship services, ministry programs, administrative operations, and community gatherings.

The project included a complete interior renovation and build-out featuring demolition, structural modifications, and the installation of all new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Working alongside ArchCentral Architects, T-Ross Brothers Construction managed every phase of the project from initial demolition through final finishes.

The completed facility includes a newly constructed sanctuary featuring a stage, lighting systems, and gathering space designed to create a welcoming worship environment for the congregation. Additional features include multiple classrooms and dedicated children’s ministry areas, along with office spaces, conference rooms, and administrative areas that support the church’s daily operations.

The project also incorporated a large multipurpose room designed for events, fellowship activities, and community use, helping create a flexible space capable of serving a wide variety of functions.

To modernize the facility and meet current building standards, the project included fully updated ADA-compliant restroom facilities, new HVAC systems with multiple rooftop units, complete fire protection and life safety systems, and extensive interior finishes including new ceilings, flooring, and wall systems.

In addition to the interior build-out, the renovation required major infrastructure upgrades including underground plumbing installation, structural steel work, and integration with existing mall utilities and building systems.
