Project Overview
T-Ross Brothers Construction provided design-build services for the addition and renovation of Grace Lutheran Church in Berwick, Pennsylvania. This project was developed to expand the church’s worship space while enhancing functionality and flow within the existing facility.
The scope of work included the construction of a 4,100-square-foot addition, along with the renovation of approximately 630 square feet of the existing structure. The project began with the demolition of the existing air lock area, followed by both renovation and new construction to accommodate a larger, reoriented sanctuary.
A key component of the project was the transformation of the sanctuary, which was redesigned with a new orientation to better serve the congregation. The expanded space includes a new entryway, narthex, and sacristy, creating a more welcoming and functional environment for both services and gatherings.
Delivered through a design-build approach, this project highlights T-Ross Brothers Construction’s ability to seamlessly integrate new construction with existing structures while meeting the unique needs of religious and community-focused spaces.
